Terms
Terms of Service
These Terms describe the agreement between you and Snoozebuy for the Snoozebuy iPhone app and this website.
1The agreement
By using the Snoozebuy app or snoozebuy.com, you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to apps from the App Store. If these Terms and Apple's agreement conflict, these Terms apply to the extent the law allows.
2What Snoozebuy is
Snoozebuy is a habit tool that adds a pause before shopping. It uses Apple's Screen Time to show a pause screen in front of apps and websites you choose, and offers a 30-day list and a fake checkout. You stay in control: you can close the pause screen, open the app anyway, or turn pauses off at any time.
Snoozebuy is not therapy, medical care, or financial, legal or tax advice. If you're struggling, see the free resources on our Support page.
3Subscriptions and the free trial
- Plans: annual ($39.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial) or monthly ($7.99 a month). Prices may vary by country and are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- If your subscription ends, pauses stop. Your list, money kept and Help & resources stay available.
4The fake checkout
Nowhere Mart is make-believe. Nothing is bought, charged or shipped, and the app never asks for card details. Receipts are for fun and for sharing.
5Money kept and other numbers
Money kept is an estimate based on what you enter: the prices of items you let go from your list and fake-buys you mark as real. Closing an app counts as an urge resisted, not as money. These numbers are for motivation, not accounting.
6Using it fairly
Please don't misuse Snoozebuy: don't try to break, reverse-engineer or overload the app or site, don't use it to monitor someone else without their knowledge, and don't use the waitlist to sign up other people.
7Disclaimers
Snoozebuy depends on Apple's Screen Time, which we don't control. Pauses may not appear in every case, for example if Screen Time access is turned off, the app selection expires, or iOS changes. We provide the app "as is" and don't promise any particular result. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that can't be waived.
8Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Snoozebuy isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including purchases you make or don't make. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
9Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where Snoozebuy's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
10Changes and contact
We may update these Terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll tell you in the app about important changes. Questions: support@snoozebuy.com.
